Memorial Weekend is only days away and you know what that means? It means we're even closer to the end of the school year--and the beginning of summer vacation. In a few short weeks your children will be out of school and looking for ways to stay active and entertained. A great way to keep them happy and healthy is with a brand new swing set.
One swing set that I really like is the Kodiak Playset (shown here with options) from Swing-N-Slide's Ready to Build Custom Collection. No mere swing set, this playset includes assembly directions, 24 time saving brackets, 2 swing seats, multi-colored tarp, 2 pairs of safety handles, 2 pairs of swing hangers, and 4" x 4" construction. (Keep in mind that lumber is not included.) You can choose other accessories such as the turbo slide or climbing rocks depending on your budget and what your kids want.
I love that this isn't just a swing set but also a play house that kids can use for all sorts of imaginative play. Plus with so many possible accessories you can customize the playset to fit your child's wants and needs. With a playset this cool, your kids will be entertained for hours while staying active and all from the comfort and safety of their own backyard.
Of course, if this type of do-it-yourself project sounds a little too ambitious, there are plenty other great swing sets that come with everything you need, including lumber. These tend to be a bit more expensive but they do makes things easier. Check out the Avenger Swing Set by Creative Playthings for starters.
Take advantage of the long weekend and purchase a great swing set from All Children's Furniture--you might need all three days just to get the thing put together but your kids will definitely thank you!
