I'm so excited to introduce you to a new line on All Modern Baby: 10 Grain!

The line is a combination of toys and furniture that have a retro feel yet a streamlined, modern design.

Another great thing about 10 Grain is that the pieces can be repurposed in different ways. Whether that means letting your child's imagination run wild or reusing the pieces in new and different ways is up to you and your child. For example, there's the Play Pad, which is a dollhouse that can also be used as a side table or a bookcase or a seat with storage. I love when furniture doesn't have an expiration date! And the U ROll Ride On is simple enough to become whatever your child wants it to be (a bike, car, horse...), which is so wonderful for open ended, imaginative play.

But my favorite piece is the Log Rocker. I love the simplicity of the design. It would look stylish in any home. Plus, being a twin, I have somewhat fond memories of cramming onto one rocking horse with my sister. It was a tight fit and resulted in some bickering if I remember correctly. But the log rocker easily accomodates two children as well as one.

And getting back to my green state of mind from St. Patrick's Day, I'm happy to report that 10 Grain is very environmentally conscious. Their Bent Ply products use much less raw materials compared to solid wood items. The raw materials they use are cultivated from planned forests that are continually regenerated. They even use recycled cardboard boxes and inserts for their packaging.
